Payments initiation at Neon Bank
Open Finance payment initiation project, designing the full experience of data sharing, consent management, transmission, and payments.

Context
Open Finance regulation gave Brazilian users the right to move money between institutions from wherever they choose. As phase 3 of Neon's regulatory Open Finance program, the payment initiator lets users bring money into Neon and pay via Pix through Open Finance connections — built on top of the consent and data-sharing foundations of the earlier phases.
The problem
Open Finance introduces complex, highly regulated, and fragmented journeys, with multiple technical steps that are hard for users to understand. The lack of a unified experience created friction, reduced trust, and limited adoption.
The solution
I led and designed the entire Open Finance experience, covering consent, data sharing, transmission, and payment initiation. I structured the information architecture, flows, and interface end to end, turning regulatory requirements into a clear, predictable, and trustworthy journey.
Results
- End-to-end Open Finance foundation
- Unified regulated flows
- Scalable payment initiation
The project unifies consent, data, and payments into cohesive flows, reducing friction and establishing the foundation of Neon's Open Finance ecosystem.
